A Thumbprint Tree Craft for the Kids

This is a simple and adorable craft. All you need is some basic tempura paint in brown, orange, yellow, and red. You ail also need a sturdy piece of white construction paper, and some newspapers to catch the mess.

Simply place the thin side of your hand into the brown paint, then press down onto the paper. This creates the “trunk”. Next, dip each finger into the yellow, orange, and red paint and apply the “leaves” above the trunk.

Follow craft time with a lovely scripture about trees. This a a great family activity on a weeknight.
