Egglo Eggs are not just for Easter. They are especially fun to use in crafts. There are many great craft ideas on Pinterest and the Egglo All Year page. Use them to make an attractive wreath, to jazz up a flower bouquet, to decorate your garden. Egglo inspires creativity. There are how-to instructions and pictures on the Egglo Blog.
Egglo Eggs make great gifts, a glowing Egg with a special note or gift inside to spread to light of Jesus: Leave on friend’s doorstep, in a mailbox, their locker, tucking into their bag, or even mail one to them!
A glowing egg on a child’s nightstand is a comforting nighttime reminder that the light of Jesus is always there for them. Children love to keep treasures and these cute little eggs are the perfect place for them to store them in a special spot.

It’s so easy to customize the Egglo program to suit any age group. The best age is about 4 to 12 years. Readers will love reading the book over and over on their own inspiring their imaginations. For younger children or for larger audiences the lively and engaging narrated DVD is recommended. You can even use the adventure book and program in smaller segments for little children. The Egg-cellent Easter Adventure book is easily broken up into chapters, and can be read in the days and weeks leading up to your glow in the dark Easter egg hunt depending on the age of the kids involved. Each leg of the Adventure Book journey starts with a Bible verse, and ends with a character lesson or application of the Bible verse. These can be individual teachable lessons to use with your children. The storybook ends with a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt, and will get kids excited about their own egg hunt.
Egglo Eggs can also be used with older kids or even adults as a scavenger or treasure hunt. Everyone loves the fun of a scavenger hunt, especially a glow in the dark one! Anything you want! But Egglo Entertainment created a full program to compliment a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt event. The Egg-cellent Easter Adventure storybook was created to emphasize the theme that Jesus is the light of the world. There are specially designed Egglo Stuffers such as character, Easter egg, and Scripture stickers that go along with the book. Not to be missed are the adorable Egglo Treasures Scripture Scrolls which kids love to unroll and discover the Bible message! The Egglo program can be used for family and friends, homeschooling, neighborhoods, schools, AWANA, church outreach events, Sunday school classes, Bible study or youth groups. It works just like traditional Easter egg hunts only these eggs glow in the dark, and the focus of this egg hunt is Jesus!
All you need is light to charge Egglo Eggs and dark places to hide them. You can have an Egglo Egg hunt outside at night, in your house, in a dark room or gymnasium, or during the day in a room with the windows covered. The eggs open so you can fill them with candy and goodies. The Egglo Stuffers were created to continue the theme and the meaning.
Another suggestion is to use the eggs in a scavenger hunt or a treasure hunt. Put a riddle, clue and/or bible verse in each egg. Lead the kids from egg to egg until they find the prize. Allow each child to take one or more home as a keepsake and reminder. If you are working a large group there are any number of prizes you can leave for the children at the end – we rocmmend one glowing egg gifted to each child containing verses about Jesus and kid friendly treats. For your family at home your child’s Easter basket can be their prize! For larger groups or older children have team scavenger hunt race!

The Egglo Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Event is based on the theme that Jesus is the light of the world and that we are called to share the light of Jesus in a dark world. The light of the glowing Egglo Easter Eggs is symbolic of the light of Jesus shining in the dark. A nighttime Easter egg hunt is a powerful object lesson teaching children about the light of Jesus. It is also a tactile lesson showing how light overcomes darkness.

Fully charge Egglo Eggs by exposure to sunlight for 20 minutes, fluorescent or black light for 40 minutes, or incandescent light for 60 minutes. Egglo eggs glow best for up to one hour and diminish over the next 1-2 hours. Use over and over again for years of enjoyment. Egglo eggs make wonderful tools to continue the conversation about Jesus.

Each box contains 12 Egglo glow in the dark eggs in four appealing colors – green, blue, yellow and pink. There are two types of eggs in each box. The blue and green eggs have a bold cross on each side. The pink and yellow eggs are open for creative decoration with stickers, markers, glitter glue or other imaginative materials. Both will inspire children. Mix and match for more variety.
