Nativity Craft- Simple with Popsicle Sticks

This craft requires large and clean popsicle sticks. You DON’T want to use the real kind that your kids have licked! This craft is easily made into a tree ornament or can be glued to card stock, making a lovely Christmas card.

You will need:
*Several large, dry, wooden popsicle sticks
*Washable markers
*Elmer’s Glue, (A glue-gun is even better)
*Pipe cleaners (white)
*Construction paper in assorted colors (optional)
*Scissors

Just place the popsicle sticks atop each other in order to create the stable. Then glue according to the design below. Let the glue dry and THEN color in with markers. Cut out clothing from the construction paper and glue as shown in the graphic. Be creative and let the kids cut out the type and color of clothing they see fit. Let them be messy and make mistakes, it’s how they learn. It’s how we all learn.
