Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, authoritative message to all people.

There is one, true God, creator of the universe, who exists eternally in the form of three distinct and equal persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Because of God’s great love and desire to reconcile His people to Himself, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save mankind. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived a perfect, sinless life. He died on the cross for the sins of all, was buried, and rose victoriously from death on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of God, the Father, to live and reign forever. Jesus Christ will return and will gather believers to live forever in His kingdom.

We believe all people are born with a sinful nature and that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. Through a relationship with Jesus, people receive forgiveness of sins, a right standing with God and eternal life. We are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our works.

The Holy Spirit is fully God. He works in all people to bring them to faith and conviction of sin. He indwells believers, encouraging, empowering and equipping them.

We believe the church is the body of Christ, carrying out His work of reaching the lost with hope and healing, making disciples and sending them to all nations.
